- 3
Draw & share
One tap draws names fairly. Send each person a private link, QR code or printed card.
Features
Everything a gift exchange needs, nothing it doesn't
Private by design
No accounts, no emails, no database. Everything stays on your device.
Exclusions that work
Couples, households and one-way rules, all checked live before you draw.
Organizer can play
Matches stay hidden, even from you, so the organizer can join in too.

Share via WhatsApp, text or email. Each link reveals only one person's match.
Wishlists & budgets
Add gift ideas or a wishlist link that only that person's Santa sees.
Pass-the-phone mode
Everyone in one room? Hand the phone around and reveal one by one.
QR codes & print cards

No repeats next year
Load last year's backup and nobody draws the same person again.
Any group size
From 3 friends to 150-person companies. The draw takes milliseconds.
The easiest way to organize Secret Santa
Drawing names from a hat works until someone picks themselves, a couple draws each other, or half the group lives in another city. This Secret Santa generator does the draw for you, fairly and instantly. It works for office Secret Santa, family gift exchanges, friend groups, classrooms and virtual teams.
Unlike most online name pickers, you don't need to sign up or collect anyone's email address. Each person gets a private link that reveals only their own match, with the budget, exchange date and their recipient's wishlist. Because there's no server and no database, your group's names stay on your device.

FAQ
Secret Santa questions, answered
What is a Secret Santa generator?
A Secret Santa generator randomly assigns each person in a group someone to buy a gift for, so nobody draws themselves and every person gets exactly one gift. It replaces drawing names from a hat. It also works when your group is spread across different cities, and it can follow rules like keeping couples apart.
Is this Secret Santa generator free?
Yes, completely. There's no account to create, no email addresses to collect and no limit on the number of participants or events.
How do participants find out who they got?
After the draw you get a private link for each person. Send it by WhatsApp, text, email or any messenger. You can also show a QR code, print cut-out cards, or pass one phone around the room so each person can reveal their match in secret.
Can I stop couples or family members from drawing each other?
Yes. Add “never pair” rules for couples, group a household together so nobody in it draws each other, or add a one-way rule when only one person shouldn't draw the other. The generator tells you instantly if your rules make a fair draw impossible.
Can the organizer see who got who?
Not unless they choose to. Matches stay hidden behind each private link, so the organizer can take part too. There's an optional “peek” button for organizers who need to check, and it asks for confirmation first.
Do I need everyone's email address?
No. Each person only needs their own link, and you can share it however you like. We never ask for email addresses or phone numbers.
Is my data private?
Yes. The draw happens entirely in your browser and is saved only on your device. Each person's match is stored inside the part of their link after the “#”, which browsers never send to a server. We have no database, so there's nothing to leak.
What if someone loses their link?
Open the generator on the same device and copy their link again. It always reveals the same match. Download a backup file after the draw so you can resend links from any device.
Can I avoid giving people the same match as last year?
Yes. In the rules step, load last year's backup file and the generator adds rules so nobody draws the same person again. People are matched by name.
How many people can join a Secret Santa?
Any group of 3 or more. The draw handles large offices and extended families of 100+ people in an instant.
What's a good Secret Santa budget?
Many groups pick something between $20 and $50, and offices often go lower, around $15–$25, so everyone feels comfortable. Set the budget when you create the event and every participant sees it next to their match.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. It's designed mobile-first, and you can install it on your home screen like an app.
